Hi, I'm Kavya Khandelwal

I'm a high school senior with a passion for computer science and game development. I've built several original games both in and outside the classroom, learning new skills with each project, and have built small LLMs during my studies.

About Me

I've spent the last year building games in Unreal engine 5, training small machine learning models out of curiosity, and figuring out how to get a room full of people excited about a project. I care a lot about the intersection of creativity and systems — whether that's designing a boss fight or tuning a neural network.

Outside of building things, I lead our school's Computer science Club and am a class representative, where I work with other student leaders and administrators to organize our school's homecoming and prom. I'm currently exploring how reinforcement learning can be used to create smarter, more adaptive game AI.

I want to build games that help struggling patients recovering in rehabilitation, by creating low-stimulation environments that encourage movement and engagement. I also want to explore how machine learning can be used to create more personalized, adaptive gaming experiences.
